Privacy Policy

The short version

Stem808 does not collect, store, sell or share any personal data. Your songs are processed on your iPhone and never leave it.

What happens on your device

Your songs and stems are imported into the app's own storage on your iPhone, and separated there by an AI model that runs on the device. They are never uploaded.
Music library access, if you allow it, is used only to show the system picker and copy the songs you choose into the app. Stem808 doesn't read or keep anything else from your library.
Settings (such as light colors, stem quality and whether you've seen the tutorial) and the count of free separations used are stored on your iPhone only.
Recordings you make are saved on your iPhone and only shared when you choose to share them.

What Stem808 doesn't do

No accounts or sign-in.
No analytics, advertising or tracking of any kind, and no third-party SDKs that collect data.
No servers: the app doesn't send your data anywhere.

Purchases

Stem808 Pro and tips are processed by Apple through the App Store. Stem808 never sees your payment details. Apple handles that information under Apple's Privacy Policy. The app only checks with the App Store whether Pro has been purchased on your Apple Account.

Children

Stem808 collects no data from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
